Natoma is a small noth central Kansas town with a population of approximately 250, located in the beautiful rolling hills of the Paradise Valley. The hills and bluffs near town are a truly breathtaking view. Natoma is located within the heart of Kansas' best hunting, fishing and scenic travel with five lakes nearby. The town was formed in 1888 and was named by a railroad officer after an Indian who worked for the railroad; the name meaning "new born".
The 1899 Presbyterian church on 3rd street is recognized for its Gothic architecture and no-sag roof style. The structure is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places.
Natoma has plenty to offer a visitor with food, fuel and two bed & breakfasts available for year round lodging.
The Labor Day Celebration is our annual community festival featuring a parade, barbecue, entertainment and a full day of fun.
